artisan's workshop studio is in the heart of Brisbane's Cultural Centre located at 170 Melbourne Street, South Brisbane. artisan's Melbourne Street Studio is apart of the Fish Lane Arts Precinct, an exemplar inner city urban renewal precinct – bustling with bars, restaurants, cafes, art, galleries, music and events. For 50 years, artisan has been enriching lives through their core activities of exhibitions, workshops, public programs, and events. The Melbourne Street Studio allows artisan to connect craft and design skills to the Brisbane community, taught by some of Queensland's best artists. artisan offers creative classes in wheel throwing ceramics, glass, furniture, jewellery and metal, with a big emphasis on sustainability. Workshops are for anyone who loves to get creative, while also offering programs for established artists and designers. PARKING: There is ample available street parking on surrounding streets, such as Manning, Edmondstone and Cordelia.
