At The Actor’s Journey, we believe great acting isn’t about pretending — it’s about truth, connection, and imagination. As Queensland’s first dedicated Sanford Meisner technique school, we’ve built a place where aspiring and professional actors alike can step into training that challenges, inspires, and transforms. Founded by award-winning filmmaker and acting coach Kelly Hetherington, our studio is a place where actors can not only grow in class but also gain experience working directly on productions with Kelly. This unique link between training and real-world practice gives our actors the confidence and craft to thrive on stage and screen. Why actors choose us? • Proven Technique: Rooted in the world-renowned Meisner method, taught in New York, London, and Los Angeles. • Professional Guidance: Learn from a teacher who has coached actors for casting directors, on set, and within live productions. • Practical Opportunities: Apply what you learn by working alongside Kelly on creative projects. • Supportive Community: Small, focused classes where every actor is seen, challenged, and encouraged.
