Established in 1885, The Wickham Hotel is undoubtedly one of Brisbane’s most iconic venues. The hotel has proudly supported the LGBTQIA+ community sinces the 1970s and is proud to be the home of Big Gay Day, Brisbane’s largest LGBTQIA+ festival. This heritage listed venue prides itself on honouring it’s fabulous history, whilst creating a modern and safe space for all patrons, regardless of gender identity, race or sexuality. The Wickham Hotel acknowledges the First Nations people as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we stand, Meanjin, Brisbane.
