The Golden Pig is located at 38 Ross Street, Newstead, Brisbane. Located in a spacious old warehouse with towering ceilings, concrete floors, an abundance of natural light and lush green plants. It is run by chef/owner Katrina Ryan ( ex Rockpool and Spirit House) and specialises in Pan Asian cuisine. The excellent food received a nod last year by winning a Chefs Hat in last years Good Food Awards. A clever selection of wine and local craft beers as well as delicious cocktails contributes to the foodie festivities. Banquet menus are perfect for large groups and cater for vegan and gluten-free. The cost per person is $75-90 for food and beverages. The Golden Pig also runs a large variety of cooking classes on Sunday’s and Mondays. You can learn all the chef’s tips and tricks and enjoy your efforts with a sit down meal with wine and beer at the end.
